Born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Johnny was first introduced to the stage at the early age of 13yrs old after winning out of hundreds of young actors in Canada for the role of Arty in the 1992 Canadian Premiere of Neil Simons Lost in Yonkers. After completing a five-month tour with the show across Canada this lead to numerous productions including Alberta Theatre Projects critically acclaimed The Glorious Twelfth and five seasons of Theatre Calgary's A Christmas Carol. After graduating high school, Johnny attended American Academy of Dramatic Arts to study theater. Returning to Canada after graduating he was cast in his first lead in The Lifetime channel's TV-movie, Oklahoma City. Continuing to be cast in TV movies and episodics in Vancouver, Johnny made his move to Los Angeles to officially start his career. Since then, TV credits include recurring, guest and co-stars on Spin City, Without a Trace, OKeefe's , and Jag. Feature film credits include Dimension Films Scary Movie and Sony Pictures Zombie Strippers. Independent film credits include Duck starring Philip Baker Hall and Green in which Johnny was the lead actor and co-producer. Also Johnny acted in and co - produced James Madios' AppleBox directed by Rick Page starring Ron Livingston, James Madio, Bridget Marquardt, AJ Buckley, Rick Gomez and Frank John Hughes.
Johnny is the lead voice as Atsuma in the XBox 360s first RJG (role playing game) from Ubisoft, Enchanted Arms . He is the voice(s) of Tony Hawks Downhill Jam, Electronic Arts Medal of Honor: Airborne, Medal of Honor: Vangaurd, SKATE, Jumper, and Jack Blacks' smash hit video game Brutal Legend. Johnny is the voice of Carson Daily in Celebrity Death Match: Carson Daily vs. Jimmy Kimmel.
Johnnys voiceover credits include T.V and radio spots for MicroSoft, Coca-Cola, RedBull, McDonalds, Dr.Pepper, Honda, Toyota, Nike, Six Flags, Gamefly and Verizon Wireless.
